Boy, was that a long year. Frankly, I'm glad to see the back of it. Here's to a better one to come, eh? 
Right now, I'm welcoming in the New Year with a cup of tea, an illicit cigarette (I gave up a few months ago), and a bit of Heath Cullen & The 45. I have plans, my friends, big plans. Most of them are still inside my head, but there'll be action in the next day or two.....
No resolutions as such, I'm not that kind of person, but I hope to live a more considered, engaged, and interactive life this year. I've seen a little too much of the inside of my house, if you know what I mean. I'm not sure where this poor old neglected blog fits in, but I'll come up with something. You'll see.

I love that you are celebrating the New Year with an illicit cigarette. I also quit a few weeks ago, but found some old American Spirits hidden back in where I keep my tea and I've been seriously considering having a cheating moment with some hot tea and one (maybe 2) smokes before I throw the rest of the pack out. Terrible! But at least I'm not the only one who thought of it. I love your blog, btw. Happy New Year!
