Funny how being on holidays makes the blogging mojo come back - I've taken five days off work, and suddenly I have the time to devote to this space again - it's lovely.
I've also managed to catch up on all the laundry, including all the hand knits. A sure sign of a knitters' house would have to be a lounge room floor covered in towels and flat jumpers, shawls pinned out all over the place, and one stern lady keeping an eagle eye on the cat.....!
Anyway - on to the pleading part of this post.
It has come to my attention that I am perilously close to running out of my favourite tea. I was sent this in a swap parcel from Sweden once - it's strawberry, passionfruit and rhubarb black tea with rose petals in it. It's bloody marvellous.
Now, according to my Google Analytics, (which I haven't read in ages, by the way - who knew people were still reading this???) there are people in Sweden who read this blog.
I am hoping I can bribe one of you - or anyone else who has access to this tea - to please send me some? I can send you Tim Tams, or Vegemite, or Fruit Tingles, or any other weird Aussie delicacy!
Please?
Okay - pleading over...
Back to normal transmission - I want to thank everyone who came over and bought some yarn from my shop today.
The cool thing about being on Ravelry, is that you can see where that yarn goes, and what people make out of it:
Gillian Welch + Natural:
Jeanette Winterson + Debbie Harry:
(I actually own this set - a gorgeous Rav friend knitted them for me, and they're REVERSIBLE. Amazing.)
Georgia O'Keefe:
Debbie Harry:
A big thankyou to all the lovely knitters who have made something from my yarn - it makes me feel inordinately proud.
So, two days of holidays left - perhaps you'll even see me again tomorrow?

Wow, the knits are beautiful, especially the Gillian Welch numbers.
If I could fly to Sweden and get you some, you KNOW I would.
I've done stranger things...
I drove 5000 miles once for a backgammon board.
True story.
I'm swedish :) But i guess your problems are already solved. Giggled a little to myself when i read you urge for a swedish tea ;)
Hello, I am new to your blog being referred here for the cathedral windows tutorial which, by the way, is awesome. Thank you.
I feel for you on the hands/arms being in pain. I've been dealing with carpal tunnel for 30 yrs although I just had surgery for the first wrist this past Feb. It feels SO much better and is totally gone. Of course, just for good measure my body has decided in exchange, I can now deal with trigger finger in my thumbs. Nice. NOT! I would prefer to break a leg before having trigger finger. SO extremely painful 24 hrs a day. At the time I had surgery for the first wrist, I also had the first thumb fixed so no more trigger finger (thumb) in that hand. YAY. The other thumb was feeling left out however and the day I was having surgery it flared up and let me know it was on the way to making me miserable. Wheeeee Now I've been dealing with that since Feb and really must have the surgery on that very soon. This is where I tell you to go see a doctor and get the whatever it is fixed. Please don't live with it as long as I have because I have seen that carpal tunnel CAN become un-fixable if you wait too long. Of course since I had it for 30+ yrs I'm not proving that at all am I? LOL
The real reason I wanted to post was that I saw you were looking for the tea. IF you have an IKEA nearby, you might want to take a peek inside their imported food aisle. They have a lot of foods from that region of the world and very well could sell that same thing there. I know I fell in love with their coffee sold in their stores and drive 1 1/2 hrs one way just to buy it myself.
