pre-election favourites....

It's a big day for we Aussies tomorrow, and I've been calming my nerves with some Flickr pretties.....

pre-election favourites......

I hope we manage to make the right choice.

I highly recommend that everyone who has to vote tomorrow visits Below The Line to figure out the best way to vote exactly the way you want to........

I'll be holding my breath all day - hoping like hell that the fair city of Melbourne votes a Green into the House of Representatives, and that my beautiful country will finally vote in a woman as its Prime Minister. A unmarried woman with no religious leanings and no children?

Miracles can happen. Even for us Atheists.

Wish us luck.

Oh I hope so too! I am so scared today of what might happen... I am so afraid that my fellow citizens may not be able to stand up and embrace this better choice.
I guess only time will tell...
Happy Voting!

I am over 50 and have dreamed of this all my life. The only problem is if too many people vote for the Greens, Labor will lose and there will no miracle female Prime Minister. My local member is Joe Hockey, so the only logical vote was Green. But I wouldn't have done it in a safe seat.

Nerve wracking isn't it.

I am hoping to be celebrating, and not drowning my sorrows.

fingers are going blue from keeping them crossed this long.

Think of it - few hundred years ago they'd have burnt her at the stake for being un married, no kids and no religious leanings...

not to mention the red hair.
