Dyeing up a storm....

The latest batch of yarn is nearly ready.....

Shop Update

I've been dyeing this batch slowly over the last couple of months, and there are just a couple of errant skeins to photograph, and it will be ready for the shop....

All of these skeins are 80/10/10 merino cashmere nylon in sock weight. The yarn is so soft and gorgeous - it actually hurts to sell it.... I think if I had it my way I would just knit exclusively from this base. Forever. yum.

Anyway - once I get my shit together, I'll be listing these for sale, and then in the next batch I'm hoping to do sport and worsted weight too - sweater amounts - woot!

Stay tuned - when I set an update time, I'll post it here well in advance.....

Beautiful, beautiful colours.
I took a workshop in shibori and it was my first appoach at dying. I find fascinating the infinite possibilities of mixing dyes.
I hope to be able to produce something as beautiful one day.

Mmmm, they all look so beautiful...I would just sit and admire the colors and never make them into anything, LOL. I think the 4th and 5th row down is my favorite color combo.

ha!

It's not about the creating, that's the easy part,
it's the photo-ing, the resizing, the listing, the pressing of buttons, all that WORK!
The pile of stuff waiting for my shit to roll together grows...
