I seem to have a dose of Startitis - and the winter seems to be affecting my colour sense - not only do I have three grey projects on the go and another one planned, I am sitting here wearing an outfit that consists of 5 different shades of gray.
So I went looking for bright shit on Flickr to put some zing into the day:
Much better. And just for good measure, I bought some of that yellow yarn up there, so expect eye-searing projects in the future.....
I've had dye pots on the go this week with a new base - merino/cashmere/nylon sock yarn, which is 460 yards of smooshy, warm and soft goodness.....
I still have to photograph everything ready for sale, but here's a sneak peek:
Amelia Earhart:
Holly Golightly:
Germaine Greer:
I'm predicting a shop update in the next couple of weeks, but the yarn is taking forever to dry in the cold weather, so it might be a bit longer....
For all you Rav Heads out there - I have a Ravelry group now for updates and stash pimping:
Hyena In Petticoats on Ravelry
Drop in and say hello, won't you?
More to come - I promise - the new financial year resolution is to be a better blogger, and to take more photos of shit. Especially shit I have finished making. Must employ a minion.

I love that you named one of the colorways after Germaine Greer!
Can I just say I absolutely adore that Amelia Earhart!! Hopefully one day soon I'll have funds to purchase a skein or two ;-)
